What is a Custom Portrait Session?
Your life doesn’t fit in a box - and neither should your photos.
Custom portraits with me are all about capturing your people, your passions, and your places - with no stiff posing or awkward smiles in sight.
You can mix and match as many things as you like in one session - family, pets, hobbies, adventure - whatever makes your story yours. Plus there’s no strict time limit; we take the time we need to get it right and make it fun.
Sessions can happens indoors (in your home or a rental studio for a clean, cosy vibe) and outdoors, making the most of the stunning Top End landscapes and those unbeatable Territory sunsets.
It’s relaxed, personal, and always true to you.

What I Photograph
Honestly? Anything. But here’s a bit of inspiration:
Families - the love, the chaos, the giggles and grumps. Big hugs, dirty feet, and those in-between moments that matter most.
Couples - whether you’ve been together 6 months or 16 years - we’ll capture your connection, your way. Sweet, silly, steamy or adventurous.
Pets and Their People - cats, dogs, horses. If they’re part of your world, they’re welcome in your photos.
In-Home and On-Property - there’s something magical about capturing people where they’re most themselves - the home you built, the backyard you, or the land that runs in your blood.
Adventure Sessions - let’s go off the beaten track - red dirt roads, waterfalls, the beach at sunset, or wherever you feel free. If you’re up for an adventure, so am I.
Horses and Country Life - horse, working dogs, dusty boots and wide open spaces - if your story is rooted in rural life, I’ll help you honour it with images that feel authentic and timeless.

Working together is easy, personal and (mostly) chaos-free. Here’s how it goes:

I’ll help you choose the perfect locations, outfits, and all the little details so you feel confident and genuinely excited.
Step 2: Your Photography Experience
No stiff poses or stress - just a relaxed, fun session where real emotions shine through.
Step 3: Image Reveal and Artwork Selection
You’ll see your photos for the first, pick your favourites, and decide how to display them beautifully.
Step 4: Final Delivery
Your professionally printed artwork will be ready to hold, display, and cherish for years to come.
Throughout, my goal is to keeps things natural, comfortable, and true to you - making sure whole experience feels as special as the photos themselves.

Pricing
Session Fee - $250
This covers our planning, your custom portrait session and your design and ordering appointment. This does not include any digital files or printed products.
Digital files and printed products are purchased separately at your ordering appointment - that way, you only invest in what you truly love.
